As she walks along the tree’s the cold ebbed from her icey essence. Frost settled on the leaves. Flowers froze instantly and stood as still as statues. Life itself was dying all around this ice cold wretch. However, Aniah had one natural foe. She was everything: love, harmony, warmth, all that was good. Rhodora was wondrous her essence shimmered in the sun. Life dripped from her very core. All that was near her grew into beauty bringing vibrant colors back to the trees and flowers. Good and evil face off everyday but their existance is only apparent on the plain of Kantaleah. If one was to overcome the other, the balance thrown off, the universe could be thrown into absolute chaos.

Life is just a blur you go from one event to another. Friends and family seem boring. You just want to get away and hide from everything. The world can appear to colapse around you but is it the world or is it really you colapsing around the world. No one ever notices. Sometimes it even eludes you; until you see a grey hair where none should thrive. What to do, can’t breathe completely suffocating from life itself. I watched The Drs episode today, apparently stress can completely destroy a person emotionally and physically. I think a small dark hole of a conscience is a good place to hide right now. Too much crushing, too much socializing maybe a break is needed to gain order in such chaos.

The dream was strange. I was on a battlefield, but it was deserted; or so I thought. There was a darker piece of ground in front of me, the grass painted with red. Bending down to get a closer look, an agonizing scream pierced the air. I stumbled back dumbfounded and it stopped. Frantically searching for the source, I found nothing. Not a soul or body in sight. Instead I saw many patches of ground all around me just like the first. Standing to attain my bearings I inspected each tainted piece of earth. Attached to each was a different scream or moan, a different death. The Earth was stained with death wherever I wandered. The silence was deafening, filled with echos of death and heartbreak.

Crumbling to the ground in absolute fear. The thoughts racing through my mind. “What happened here? Is everyong gone? Why? How?” My heart broke and my voice shattered the silence. Asking for a higher power, a deity to explain, to help fix this tragedy. A small voice flowed in the wind saying “This is the future.” My eyes fluttered open, my heart pounded in my ears. The battlefield was gone.

She peered out her window
The soft white powder of snow
Had settled on the cold, crisp morning
The sparkling white landscape boring
Into her excited sea blue eyes
The heavens promised snow from the graying sky
Grabbing her thickest blanket she runs down
The winding stairs to the kitchen where hot chocolate was found
The whistling hot pot was soon steaming
And hot chocolate in the snow was what she was dreaming
She walking onto the front porch and sat in the rocking chair
As she watched the snow start to fall layer upon layer
She sipped her hot chocolate and thanked God for this scene
She imagined a fairytale not as a princess but as a Queen
Because she must be royalty to deserve this beautiful picture
She couldn’t wait until tomorrow to see the great mixture
Of a unforgettably frosted White Christmas
One that will never be again and will never pass

The beautiful dresses she wore always had one bow tied aroung her dainty waist. However, no matter how beautiful her dresses or jewelry were nothing ever compared to her natural beauty. But in all her radiance and wealth she always seemed sad in her duties. Her constant loneliness was seen in her smile that would not touch her chocolate brown eyes for even a moment.

Your heart is torn apart
The emotions intwined
In your heart a glass shard
Looking for a single sign
Tears falling from the eyes
You wish you could turn back time
Erase all the looks and sighs
Explain the word fine
Friends say ” You don’t need him”
Crying over the phone trying to cope
When he is near you can hear a pin
Dropping, so loud, so ominous, with no hope
You take out the sacred box
Looking through the memories, all gone
Waiting for, wishing for the knock
But it never come, instead a dark sun

Love is the sweet taste of honey
It’s the bright morning sun
Love is when laughter fills the air and everything is funny
It’s playing in the mud with siblings and trying to be the most cunning
Love is watching your daughter leave the church with a different name
And trying not to cry but keep that moment in a frame
It’s the day a Daddy holds his child for the first time
Love is when you want to see your lil girl happy even if it costs every last dime
It’s the day you lose your better half to death and God
Love is standing at the altar with your true love and giving the preacher a nod
And remembering the day you first met her
When you held her hand and knew for sure

What love is.♥

The mother was so careless with her last child
She alienated her from sight like a corrupted file
She forgot about the small blue eyed blonde
And she later realized how truly fond
Of her child she was, she looked away for years
That passed like minutes in an hour and drug out her deepest fears
She finally realized what she had done
What she had lost long ago with no fun
As she sits alone in her desolate apartment, staring
At one object, the last childs picture, always daring
Her self to wonder what it would have been like
To be apart of her life, to share in her spotlight in the mic
Of her last daughters life. She always dreams
Of what could have been, instead of what it is, what it seems
Her daughter left her sight one day and never returned
She figured she had learned
All that she could from the absent mother of hers
But before she left she handed her a letter
That didn’t grasp her, didn’t get her
Until years later she read it and shed her tears silently
Her heart broke inside it shook her so violently
It read:

Dear Mother, this is my final poem to you I hope it is not mild
to your heart: The mother was so careless with her last child….
